maitake
hi again now lets talk about some rare kind of mushroom cultivation how to cultivate maitake ? the answer is no more comercial growers tend to cultivate that kind be couse there is no prediction . becouse you dont know how many logs will give you fruiting bodies not all teh bags will give you only some at the same time olso the amount will be very low but now let began suppose we have similar conditions which we have in shiitake . now we ll make the same as shiitake but the fruitting stage will be too long and it can devided to no of stages but at all work as you worked in shiitake but without bran best regards

oyester mushroom cultivation
hi
now with oyester mushroom cultivation
lets begen
suppose we have the same condition which we required for shiitake in the previos message
now we will need amont of straw bales
one or more Barrel
kind of feul to make fire under barrel
now lets began
1-full the barrel with water 60% of size
2- poil the water
3-mix the straw with caco3 (lime stone) 2% w:w
4- put the straw inside textile bag
5-put the bag in the boilled water for 5 minutes or more
6- remove the straw from the bag in clean area tell it cool
7- put the straw in clean poly ethileen or propyleen bags tell 5 cm high in the base then but amont of spawn
8- put another 10 cm of straw then put spawn and so on tell you full the bag
9- make the spawnage more than 5 % w:w
leav the bags for 3 weeks or more tell it become white
10- make the same with shiitake in the previous message

THE FIRST STEP YOU MUST HAVE CLEAN PLACE WITH TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDTY CONTROL SUCH AS ROOM OR GREEN HOUSE
THE SECOND STEP YOU HAVE TO BRING GOOD KIND OF SAWDUST ( OAK SAWDUST MAY BE GOOD ONE) AND AMOUNT OF BROTINE SOURCE SUCH AS BRAN AND SOME OF CACO3 CALCIUM CARBONATE AND IF YOU WANT SOME OF GYPSIUM

WE HAVE THREE METHODS FOR THE CULTURE BUT I LL TALK NOW ABOUT THE ORDANARY METHOOD BY STERILAIZATION WITH EMPHASIS AN THE REASONS OF THE FAILURE
1- MIX THE SAWDUST WITH THE BRAN AND LIME (CACO3) IN THIS RATIO

FOR EXAMPLE IF YOU HAVE 10 KG OF MIXTURE YOU HAVE TO AD 15 LITER OF WATER
2- BRING POLYPROBLINE BAGS IN SIZE OF 25 * 40 CM
3- PUT 1.5 OR LESS OF MIXTURE WITH WATER IN EACH BAG (LARGER AMOUNT REQUIRE LONGER TIME FOR STRELIZATION )
4- PUT YOUR BAGS IN AUTO CLAVE FOR 6 - 8 HOURS ON 121 C OR TELL YOU ENSURE THAT THE MIDDLE OF MIXTURE IN EACH BAG HAVE REACHED 121 C FOR AT LEAST 20 MINUTES ( REMEMBER SAWDUST HAVE BAD CONECTIVITY FOR THE TEMBERETURE )
5- BUT YOUR BAGS IN COLD AREA TELL IT BECOME COLD IN CLEAN AREA (DONT LEAVE IT OPENED)
6- INCULATE YOUR BAGS WITH GOOD SPOONS ( I LL EXPLAIN HOW TO DISTINGUSH THE GOOD SPAWN SOON )
7- CLOSE YOUR BAGS AND LEAVE IT IN THE ROOM IN TEMPRETURE BETWEEN 5 : 27 C
8- LEAVE IT TELL IT BECOME WHITE (TOTALY COLONIZED BY SHIITAKE MYSELIUM )
9- MAKE CUT IN THE BAGS AND MAINTAIN THE HUMDITY IN THE ROOM AROUND 85% ALL THE TIME WITH RENEWING THE AIR IN THE ROOM TWO TIMES DAILY
10- WAIT TELL YOU FOND BROUN COLOR IN SIDE THE BAGS
